10,618 new Covid cases in ROI, 4,622 in NI

10,618 new cases of Covid 19 have been confirmed in the Republic this afternoon.

There were 4,208 PCR confirmed cases, while a further 6,410 people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal.

Meanwhile, 4,622 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in the North in the last 24 hours.

There have been four aditional covid related deaths.
