35 patients awaiting beds at LUH

There were 35 admitted patients awaiting beds at Letterkenny University Hospital this morning, five of them on Emergency Department trolleys.

The figure at Sligo University Hospital was even higher this morning, with 39 patients awaiting beds according to the INMO, 28 of them on Emergency Department trolleys.

That’s a combined North West figure of 74, accounting for almost 19% of the national total of 400.
