1,062 Covid patients in irish hospitals, 71 in LUH

1,062 Covid patients are being treated in hospitals today – down one from yesterday.

However, the total is still 20 percent higher than last Tuesday.

Latest figures show there’s 89 patients with the virus in ICU.

As of 8pm last night, there were 71 infected patients at Letterkenny University Hospital, two of them in ICU.

That remains the highest figure in the country.
