9,218 additional cases of Covid-19 reported

A further 9,218 new Covid-19 cases have been confirmed.

4,006 are positive PCRs and 5,212 are positive antigens registered on the HSE portal.

There are 824 people in hospital with the virus – a drop of 155 compared to this day last week.

79 are in ICU – down 15 over the same period.
