NI no longer has fully functioning Government

Northern Ireland no longer has a fully functioning government.

The resignation of First Minister Paul Givan came into effect at midnight, after only 8 months in the role.

Deputy First Minister Michelle O’Neill is automatically removed from her post as a result.
