Rory Gallagher hails dominant Derry performance over Cork

Derry made it three wins from three in the National Football League after they beat Cork 1-13 to 0-07 in Owenbeg.

Shane McGuigan was the top scorer for the Oakleaf County scoring eight points with Benny Herron finding the back of the Cork net.

Jason Gibson delighted as Bonagee advance to FAI Intermediate Cup Quarter Final

Bonagee United are through to the Quarter Finals of the FAI Intermediate Cup for the first time in their history after they beat Everton FC on penalties on Saturday night.

The game ended 2-2 with Micahel Doherty and Deano Larkin netting for Bonagee.

Jason Gibson’s side then won the game on penalties with five perfect kicks as well as a save from goalkeeper Oisin Cannon.

Donegal were beaten for the first time in the National Football League this season on Sunday afternoon, going down 1-13 to 0-07 away to Kerry.

David Clifford’s goal midway into the second half helped the Kingdom to victory.

Declan Bonner “disappointed” by Donegal’s second half performance

Donegal manager Declan Bonner has spoken of his disappointment of his sides second half performance in their 1-13 to 0-07 defeat to Kerry in the National Football League.

At halftime, Donegal trailed 0-09 to 0-02 but were playing against a strong wind in that first half.

Despite having the wind in the second half Declan Bonner’s were outscored 1-04 to 0-05.

Gardaí attend multi-vehicle crash in Lifford

Gardaí say they attended the scene of a multiple vehicle crash in Lifford today.

Local reports indicate that at least three vehicles were involved in the collision, with emergency services attending the scene and the road being closed for a matter of time.

Gardaí say no one was seriously injured in the collision, and that the road has since been re-opened once again.

Donegal beaten in Kerry in National League

Donegal tasted defeat for the first time in the National Football League this season, losing out 1-13 to 0-07 to Kerry in Tralee.

At halftime, Declan Bonner’s side trailed nine points to two before Kerry extended their out to nine points with a David Clifford goal.

Donegal battled to get back in the game but couldn’t bridge the gap as Kerry ran out the victors.
