Derry City claim victory over Sligo Rovers

Derry City kept their hopes of European football alive after they beat Sligo Rovers 2-0 at the Ryan McBride Brandywell.

Jamie McGonigle opened the scoring for the Candystripes on 18 minutes and doubled his and Derry’s tally on the evening with a goal after 75 minutes.
