€35 million to be invested in Donegal roads in 2022

€35 million is to be invested in regional and local roads across Donegal, one of the highest allocations in the country.

The funding will go towards climate change adaptation and resilience works, safety improvements and bridge rehabilitation works.

Welcoming the announcement, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine Charlie McConalogue says the funding is crucial for Donegal and the maintenance of the county’s roads.

He believes it will be beneficial for tourism, for working, for leisure and most importantly for safety.
