Funding granted to Milford & District Resource Centre

 

Funding of almost €150,000 has been allocated to the Milford & District Resource Centre, to provide a new youth development project as well as establishing a youth officer.

The funding, provided by the International Fund for Ireland will develop the Mulroy Youth Engagement Project which helps young people in education and getting employment.

Manager of the Milford & District Resource Centre, Declan Meehan, says this programme will address the long-standing lack of youth services in the Milford area:
