Republic of Ireland records 9,938 additional Covid cases

9,938 new cases of Covid19 have been confirmed.

The HSE has been notified of 5,265 PCR-confirmed cases, while 4,673 people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal.

708 COVID-19 patients are in hospital, down 31 from 739 yesterday.

71 are in ICU, a decrease of 3.
