Severe weather conditions leads to calls for better phone coverage in Donegal

Today’s weather conditions have led to calls for better mobile phone coverage across Donegal.

Early this morning, five vehicles became stuck on the Glenveigh road and due to a lack of mobile phone coverage they were unable to seek help.

West Donegal Councillor Michael McClafferty says this morning’s incident is evidence of the vital need for better communication infrastructure in the county.

He says there is always ways and means to deliver if the will is there:
