The Taoiseach has addressed the nation announcing new Covid restrictions.

The main points are as follows:

Nightclubs to close from December 7th to January 9th

Digital Covid Certs to be extended to gyms and hairdressers

Bars and restaurants must all revert to the situation before October 22nd.

Maximum of 50 per cent capacity at entertainment, cultural, community and sporting events indoors, which must be fully seated.

Gatherings in homes to be restricted to four households
