Woman seriously injured in Raphoe crash

Investigations are ongoing after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a crash in Raphoe yesterday afternoon.

At around 2:30pm yesterday at Guesthouse End Street a car collided with a second vehicle which Gardai say struck a pedestrian.

The woman in her 50s was removed from the scene to Letterkenny University Hospital in a serious condition.

Gardai say the road will remain closed until early this afternoon.

Diversions are in place.
